Many fans are looking forward to Apples new lines of laptop. MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 are among the hottest items even before hitting the market. But, aside from these two powerful laptops, many are also wondering what’s in store for the next MacBook.
According to MacWorld, the new MacBook, which is just called MacBook to distinguish it from MacBook Pro and MacBook Air was introduced on Mar. 9 2015. Apple’s thinnest and lightest laptop was made available after a month, Apr. 10, 2015.
With all the clamor for the popular MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, there is also a growing hype for the next model of MacBook.
Per the report, the current MacBook comes with an impressive machine and design. It is available in gold, silver and space grey colors. It is 13.1 mm thick, which makes it 24 percent thinner than Apple’s MacBook Air, snatching its record for being the thinnest laptop from the Cupertino-based tech giant.
Aside from its sleek design, it comes with a Retina display, Force Touch Track pad and a new butterfly mechanism beneath its individually lit keys. It also arrived with USB Type-C port and a headphone jack.
On their website, Apple described MacBook as compact and the lightest notebook one could find but aside from its physical design, it also offers a good performance.
MacBook is “not only lighter and thinner but also better.” The company added that this is the future of the notebook in the market.
Per the reports there are rumors that a new 12-inch MacBook is on the way that may potentially replace MacBook Air. Initially, the MacBook Air was designed to be the lightest notebook, hence the name. However, it is now outshined by the MacBook.
