It seems like we were just here a few weeks ago … but now Apple is back to tell us about its newest hardware. This time around, the focus is a product line that hasn’t gotten a lot of love lately: MacBooks. Yes, Apple’s line of portable computers is getting a much-needed refresh today. We can’t wait to see what’s in store.
And of course, we here at WIRED will have a liveblog to bring you all the news. There’s a livestream you can watch on your computer, iPhone, or Apple TV. But we’re going to liveblog anyway. Why liveblog? Because we love to liveblog! It’s also the best way to offer commentary and real-time analysis of all the announcements.
The event starts Tuesday, October 27 at 10am PDT (that’s 1pm on the east coast). Join WIRED’s David Pierce and Brian Barrett about 30 minutes before the start of the event. They’ll have their hot takes simmering—and they’ll certainly have a lot to say about the how the new design is rumored to include a touch-sensitive strip of a screen in place of the function keys.
When the liveblog starts at around 9:30am PDT, this message will disappear and you’ll just see live updates.
