Taiwanese multinational computer hardware and electronics company Asus has finally launched its latest laptop model, the Asus E403SA VivoBook. It took approximately nine months for the company to officially release it due to certain delays but it’s here now and some things have changed since it was unveiled.
According to a report by Parent Herald, the new Asus E403SA VivoBook is now more expensive compared to the initial cost announced. The portable system, which was first priced at $299, has now a price tag of $399. The reason for the $100 increase is because of the better specs incorporated in the gadget.
The official website of Asus detailed that the new laptop comes with a 14-inch FHD display with a weight of 1.5 kg only and 17.9mm thickness. Covered in brushed aluminum with glacier gray design, the laptop provides up to 14 hours of battery life through the 57 Whr battery.
Geeky Gadgets also noted that it features a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is equipped with an Intel Pentium N3700 quad-core processor with integrated Intel HD graphics and 4 GB of RAM. It also has a 128 GB of internal storage and a USB Type-C port along with other connectivity options like WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and HDMI. It also features a VGA webcam and an Asus IceCool Technology which keeps the laptop temperature between 28 degree Celsius and 35 degree Celsius.
It is built with a touchpad with smartphone touchscreen-like precision, which gives the user a highly sensitive surface for impressive response and accuracy. Aside from that, it has a multi-touch and Smart Gesture input which makes swiping, scrolling, and zooming in and out very easy.The device’s operating system is Windows 10.
Moreover, the new laptop is furnished with SonicMaster-enhanced audio for a better music experience and ASUS Splendid technology which provides vibrant visuals and vivid colors. According to Liluputing, there is no information yet on whether a cheaper version of the Asus E403SA VivoBook will be coming. Those who are interested will have to stay tuned for updates.
