Man caught on camera stealing laptop at restaurant says he wants to return it – KMOV.com

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

College student Bradley Rayford said he was eating lunch at the Best Steak House on Grand in Midtown St. Louis when a well-known customer walked in and took his laptop.

Rayford said he didn’t notice the man until he sat down next to his laptop as it was charging just one table over from Rayford.

“Ultimately it’s my fault. I take responsibility for it, at the same time I am not going to take all the responsibility from a grown adult deciding to take something that’s clearly not his,” Rayford said.

Then Rayford said the man grabbed the laptop and walked out the door.

“He is like a professional. He just gets up. I got up to get a to-go plate. He looks at me, looks at the table and walks straight out the door,” Rayford said.

Everything was caught on tape. Now police are now working to find the suspect. To see the surveillance video. click here.
