Lenovo Announced Yoga 700 Windows 10 Laptops Starting At $649 – Tech Times
Lenovo announced two new laptops to its line-up that are more affordable than the Yoga 900 2-in-1 that was unveiled last week for a starting price of $1,200.
The company introduced the Yoga 700 that comes in either an 11-inch or 14-inch model, both powered by Windows 10.
The convertible notebooks can be used as a laptop, stand, tent or tablet, and have a 10-point multitouch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with Dolby DS1.0 Home Theater speakers, with sharp visuals and clear sound further enhancing the gaming or movie streaming experience. The devices also come with an ergonomically designed AccuType backlit keyboard for comfortable typing and a setup that is easy on the eyes in dim light.
The 11-inch Yoga 700 weighs in at just 2.43 pounds and is 0.62 inches in thickness, making it a slim and portable option for those looking to increase productivity when traveling. The notebook has an Intel Core m5-6Y54 processor with 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of SSD storage, and a battery life of about 8 hours.
The 14-inch option can be equipped with Intel Core i7 or i5 processors aimed at increased productivity, with the option of Nvidia GeForce 940M graphics chip, and has 256 GB of SSD storage and 8 GB of RAM.
While the 14-inch Yoga 700 packs more power than the Yoga 900, it has a less-sophisticated hinge, and the body is wrapped in plastic inside of magnesium.
The 11-inch Lenovo Yoga 700 retails for $649, while the 14-inch retails for $799. The laptops will be available this month.
