While many think that laptops or notebooks have become obsolete after the rise of smartphones and tablets, there is a lot a laptop can still do, which the other two cannot.

For starters, the laptop gives you an array of connectivity options like USB 3.0, HDMI, VGA, Ethernet and SD card reading port.

Of course, one can’t ignore the fact that laptops offer a large screen to view documents, files or images.

Everything looks better on a large display.

Also, one can easily burn DVDs and transfer files with them.

On the downside, laptops are less portable than a tablet or mobile.

Clearly, the pros outweigh the cons.
