Pictures emerged of Dylann Roof, the man charged with the killings, posing with the flag, renewing a debate about use of the Civil War-era symbol. South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley on Monday called for removing the flag from Statehouse grounds.

On Sunday, Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook tweeted that his thoughts were with the victims’ families. “Let us honor their lives by eradicating racism & removing the symbols & words that feed it,” he wrote.

Touch Arcade, a gaming website, earlier said that Apple seemed to be removing games such as “Ultimate General: Gettysburg” and “Hunted Cow” from the App Store.
